Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is a British-Canadian actress popular for her part in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the movies Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her leading characters include Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the'80s. Kim Cattrall's character on the HBO television show Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. Cattrall is well-known as an actress whose portrayal Samantha Jones in the popular TV sitcom Sex and The City was an important turning moment for her career. It was not only a hit with the audience within her country of birth and led to her becoming a world-renowned superstar. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known performance was on the comedy/drama movie La Dolce Vita. The film was both a critical and commercial hit and was awarded both the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. Before her professional career as an model, the model from Skane worked in fashion. She went on to win her first Miss Sweden contest. Following her move to the US she began performing in a variety of films and playing minor roles. The first role she was credited with was in the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars where she played the role of a Venusian guard. Then, shortly after, her role as a bloody woman in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising newcomer.
